The Photographer Behind the Lens.
Hello! My name is Vincent Tavernaro, and I'm the owner of Vincent Tavernaro Photography! I'm a 25 year old self taught photographer who wants nothing more than to help you cherish the important people and memories in your life!
I've always been into art, whether it's drawing, filmmaking, painting, and so much more, but photography really hooked me and was the medium I felt I could really shine with the most. Throughout my life, photography was always a part of it. Whether it was my mom taking pictures of my brother and I for the scrapbook, me begging my mom for her camera so I could try taking pictures on my own, my first iPod Touch, first digital camera, I was constantly looking to take more pictures and get new cameras. Throughout high school and college I thought of leaning more towards the film side of production, but the more I turned away from photography, the stronger the pull was to bring me right back to my camera. Then I saved up enough to get myself my Sony A7siii and a real lens, and I haven't been able to put it down since!
Being a photographer in this day and age is both intimidating and exciting. With so much talk about AI, it's hard not to get a little nervous every now and then in the creative world. But on the other hand, it gives me hope. People are missing real human connection more than ever, and my main goal with photography is to really connect with people, learn about them, figure out why they want to book a session, and what these photos will mean for them in the future. I want to help people, partly because I'm a bit of a people pleaser (oops), but when I'm with clients or just friends and family taking pictures and I see the smiles on their faces, it brings me such fulfillment and joy, I just love it!
Though I am still early in my photography career, I'm loving every minute of it! Every session, every new project, skill learned, new opportunity, meeting new people, it's all part of my creative journey. And I hope you can be apart of it!
